Les Diablerets is situated at a height of 1200 m in the heart of the Vaudois Alps. This is an authentic mountain village that is located at the foot of an imposing mountain range. This mountain village also has a majestic glacier on the top. This is entirely made up of chalets. This village has great character and it was developed at a time when people wanted to preserve the heritage.
During the winter and summer seasons, the main street in this village gets transformed into a friendly space. This allows you to enjoy a tranquil environment. You can take strolls along the river “la Grande Eau” and walkers have done this since years. Once you come to this place, you get to experience mental peace as you are far away from the urban stress. Les Diablerets is situated at a distance of 120 km from Geneva airport and less than 40 km from Montreux.
Activities
The Glacier 3000 near Les Diablerets, also allow the visitors to combine unique and original activities throughout the year. You can also experience skiing activities at the glacier from the months of November till the month of May. During the summer season, the glacier here also offers the Alpine Coaster which is considered to be the highest toboggan that runs on rails in Europe. It is also home to the Peak Walk which is the world’s first suspension bridge that links these 2 peaks. The footbridge is 108 meters long, and you can access it throughout the year. This also allows the visitors to discover a 360° panorama that has much more than 24 peaks spread over 4000 meters.
